About

What are the most important factors to consider?

Condition

All of the houses have been professionally and completely renovated prior to being rented out for the first time. Each time a house changes hands from tenant group to tenant group, the house is cleaned professionally, Mr. Pierotti personally sees to all necessary repairs to put the house back into "as new" condition over the summer months. This usually involves carpet cleaning and the repair of small nail holes in walls and the re-painting of necessary areas. Please check out the individual house web page to see particulars about each property.

Location

You will find that these properties are in walking distance of all you needs and want, such as restaurants, stores, bars, school, recreation facilities and banks.

Security

All houses have deadbolts on the entry doors; all have new additions or new buildings have new windows wich are quite secure when they are closed and locked. All houses have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and two or more fire extinguishers. Perhaps most importantly, all of the houses are rented to groups of people who already know each other... usually from residence. None are rented out by the individual room. Also, none are located in the hearth of the "student ghetto" where most break-ins occur. All are in mixed areas of students and single-family homes, though still close to UWO.
